Contemporary Art Asia (CAA) is a leading global art organisation, focusing on the branding and promotion of artists with Asian cultural background or legacy. Asian market has become one of the most pivotal regions for the transactions of contemporary artworks, taking up to 40% share of the global contemporary art auction turnover in 2020/21. Our aim is to provide continuous impetus for the Asian contemporary art market, by facilitating Asian artists in obtaining more global exposure. With head office in London, we extensively work with world leading auction houses and online art brokerages. Our regular private artistic salon in London has established a solid and effective connection between artists and enthusiastic collectors for contemporary Asian artworks.
Apply to become a CAA artist
We welcome both mature and emerging artists who practise in CONTEMPORARY ART with Asian background to apply to become a CAA artist. This is an unparalleled opportunity as becoming an CAA artist, you will benefit from:
- Twice a year independent group exhibition at the most premium venues in Central London. These venues are to include: Tate Modern, Saatchi Gallery, The National Galley. The exhibitions are professionally curated by an experienced curator from Sotheby's Institute of Art.
- Once a year an exclusive collector's garden party held at a private venue (wine estates, historical castles, etc.) in the UK.
- Professional critiques from reputable art critics.
- Selected artworks to be evaluated by auction house professionals and enter auction.
- Unlimited exposure on a variety of social media.
- A 3D online exhibition space dedicated to one artist only.
- Direct sale on the CCA website and other platforms, commission rates apply.
- Represent artists at prestigious international art fairs including Frieze London.
How to apply
Please make sure you have the following documents ready.
- The latest C.V. in English.
- Artist's personal website if there is one.
- At least 10 pieces of contemporary artworks, large scale ones are preferred.
- Fill in the Artist Application Form below.
After the application is submitted, we will contact you within 10 working days to notify the application outcome. We may contact you for further artworks so our board can make a fair and square assessment.
When the application is successful, you will receive a formal agreement.
The annual membership fee for 2023/24 is £4,000 plus VAT. Please be aware there will be a small increase with the membership fee each year.

We may contact you for further artworks so our board can make an equitable assessment.
If the application is successful, you will receive a formal agreement with all the details about the service CAA will delivery to you.
